Mike Durant, Twins Major League Ball Player, is running the 2017 Dublin Baseball Academy.
The purpose of the Dublin Baseball Academy (1st-12th grade) is to inspire and instruct young athletes with an interest in advancing their baseball knowledge and skills to the next level. Participants will be taught the fundamental mechanics of fielding, throwing, hitting, and pitching. In addition, participants will learn the proper way to warm up, condition, and warm down. These skills will be emphasized through repetition with quality instruction. New this year will be two sessions for all parents dealing with how to teach your son the fundamentals of baseball and how to help ensure a healthy player focusing on arm care and proper nutrition before and after a baseball game.
Cost of registration is $125 for Dublin Travel Baseball participants. The $125 includes six group lessons and one private lesson and 50 tokens. There's also an additional private lessons and 50 tokens available for $50 (optional) a $98 value.
Sessions are October 15, 22, 29, and November 5, 12 and 19. Times are to be announced.
The sessions will have smaller class sizes this year. T-shirts will be provided.
